Ministry Of Sound Academy.

Influenced by the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Rampling, Erick Morillo and Judge Jules, Dave’s sound is definitely one to fill the dance floors with big beats and euphoric melodies. Similar to his peers, he likes to experiment across the house genre, playing a mix of house, progressive and tech-house, using big vocals and epic synths to get those hands in the air.

As a graduate of the Ministry of Sound Academy Dave has perfected his DJing skills and presence behind the decks. The big hitters at Ministry certainly noticed something special, and invited him back earlier this year to feature on the line-up along side Sharam, Tom Middleton and Alex Kenji at the world-famous club night Global Underground.

In October 2010 Dave took centre-stage on the Reloop DJ Stand at BPM, Europe’s biggest event dedicated to DJs, electronic music production and club culture. Since then he’s played along side the Cut-Up Boys and Kate Lawler, rocking main room crowds in the UK’s most infamous nightclubs including ‘The EGG’ in London.

Dave’s latest venture is his recent partnership with producer Ric Scott. The pair have already released their debut track on iTunes and their latest production,‘The Chase’, will be available on all portals from December 2010.

Yet again combining their talents, the pair signed to Colorful Records & released the hugely successful summer anthem ‘Sunrise’. Released on March 11th 2011 it didn’t take long before support from across the globe started to build. Pedro Del Mar (Anjunabeats/Mellowmania) featured the track in his monthly Podcast , shortly followed by Trance legend M.I.K.E Push in his Club elite sessions radio show. Radio support came in the form of a month long slot as the ‘tune of the week’ on NRG 95.6FM Rhodes, as well as Frank Frenzy of Toronto’s Chin FM playing the track on his weekly shows.

Following the success of the track, both radio stations invited Dave & Ric to put together exclusive guest mixes that would be broadcast across the airwaves. On April 29th ‘Scott & Payne’ took to the decks for a one hour mix following on from Stealth Records head honcho Roger Sanchez. Then on June 13th the duo took over the Dance department at NRG 95.6FM for a specially extended two hour guest mix. Sunrise is now licensed to two compilations & is available to download on Beatport, itunes & all other digital stores.

Away from Production and back into the clubs Dave’s popularity continues to grow, taking a break from the studio he recently headlined a special charity event at Nottingham’s Legendary super-club Gatecrasher. His own night ‘takeover’ continues to be one of the busiest nights in his home town regularly attracting a sell out crowd each & every Bank Holiday. With some very special events planned over the coming months, as well as some more radio appearances and releases.
